Take a look in every nook;

take the time to enjoy yourself.

Take your next step,

take a long trip,

take everything in stride.

Take it like a champ and

take it easy.

My Social Commentary

Yesterday, I cast my vote,

around Wisconsin,

voices spoke,

and voices cannot be denied,

when liberty

is on their side.

While, yes, guess that to be true,

I feel my voice

 has been abused,

and anything, I tried to say,

they’d counted out,

and swept away.

That doesn’t really help me out,

but other voices,

like mine, shout,

and still the battle rages on,

and one more term

is come and gone.

Miles come, miles go,

miles disappear

in a racing ripple of asphalt

beneath my revolving tires.

Love to watch the seasons change,

ten miles down the road;

love to meander

through a waving channel

of gold and auburn leaves

on a rosy autumn

afternoon;

love to watch the world turn

at seventy miles

per hour,

and see where I’m at

when the gas runs out.

with rapidly flooding

global photosynthesis.
