He investigated the charred and gutted remains of the
old schoolhouse, where a teacher and her eight students had long ago perished
in a mysterious inferno. As he stopped to change the battery in his camera, the
stillness was broken by the echoes of the teacher imparting her final lesson to the class.
This page is dedicated to the trials, tribulations, thoughts, musings, and potentially bad decisions of an aspiring writer... but not really. There will be a lot of writing, though.

and democracy, mortally wounded by the corruption that had poisoned its heart. As
the grand experiment gasped its final breaths, gluttonous bureaucrats closed
in like jackals, preparing for an extravagant feast.

army, slender and tall, had marched down the road, sweating in splashes onto
the pavement, beneath them. We followed that grand parade with rapt attention…
